Crossing the bay for a worthy cause
Over 20 staff from ICT Reverse are gearing up for an 8 mile walk across the bay to raise vital funds for local charity Unique Kidz & Co.
On Saturday 29th July, the team will be led across the sands by the Queen’s Guide Cedric Robinson from the picturesque promenade of Arnside, finishing up at Kents Bank near Grange-over-Sands.
With their partners, children and dogs in tow, the fundraisers can expect to view plenty of beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding Lakeland hills and those of Lancashire and Yorkshire.
Cross bay Sponsorship donations are flooding in for Unique Kidz & Co who now support over 120 children and families affected by a range of disabilities.
The group offers a variety of services such as after-school/holiday clubs, weekend trips, sibling support, consultation and practitioner training. All take place in an environment that encourages children and young people to interact, make friends, play and most importantly, be unique.
Their services allow parents and carers of disabled children the chance to return to work or education, spend time with other family or friends or simply to have some much needed respite.
“ICT Reverse is delighted to be supporting such a worthy charity and we would like to wish all the walkers the best of luck on the day. Let’s hope the sun shines!”
