Job Title: SQL Developer

Location: Morecambe, Lancashire

Salary: £30k – £40k Dependent on experience

Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:45 – 17:00 (22 days holiday + 8 bank holiday)

Eco Renew UK, incorporating the group companies of ICT Reverse, Mazuma Mobile and iMend are looking to recruit an experienced SQL Developer to join the expanding team at the groups UK head office in Morecambe.

Skills / Environment

  • Installation and configuration of SQL Servers, MySQL
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008R2, 2012 & Greater, MySQL
  • Database design, implementation and control
  • T-SQL – skills including writing, trouble shooting and optimising
  • Experience of designing stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers & constraints.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues
  • Experience in performance tuning, query optimisation, using performance monitor and SQL profiler
  • Experience of index configuration and management
  • Experience of source data analysis and preparation for processing and manipulation
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and data structures
  • Experience of archive, backup and recovery
  • Demonstrable experience within SQL development
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the life cycle of development
  • Further develop and maintain existing data warehouse by writing new/ amending SQL stored procedures and data warehouse metadata
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel
  • Degree or similar experience

Role Overview

  • Provide support to the communication/stakeholder management
  • Interface design and assistance
  • Support the build and test process
  • Provide product use and customisation support to the services team
  • Produce operational documentation, data flow diagrams, diagrams, data dictionaries and documentation of data warehousing
  • Write ad hoc SQL scripts to deal with MI queries
  • Continually review and optimise queries

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.00pm
